Come to my lovely studio in downtown Budapest and I will take the photographs you have always wanted. Do you want human looking ID pictures? Something for the dating website that you've put off because you haven't got a decent picture? What about a great portrait for your parents or a sexy calendar for your partner? Or a set of photographs where you are a top model for a day! You don't have to be a model but won't it be great to have a gorgeous souvenir of you at your slimmest and fabulous best! Some people would rather have teeth pulled than have their photographs taken. I understand because I'm one of them! My background in theatre both as actress and director has given me the ability to get the best out of you. You will be delighted with the results. Have another look at the photographs on my site. Some of those people are indeed models and actors but many are just ordinary people who wanted to dress up and look great and have the results captured for ever. Of course, you may want a simpler, more "ordinary" style, and we can do that too, if you are a more outdoorsy sort of person. I have always been a keen photographer and trained formally for three years at the London College of Printing which is part of the prestigious London Institute and Central St. Martins as well has being a member of the British Institute of Professional Photographers when I lived in London. I have lived in Budapest since 2001. |
"What will this cost?" you rightly ask. Each commission is different but by way of example a session to get a head and shoulder portrait typically would cost HUF 40,000. Such a session would last an hour and half and I will work with you to get the best result possible. As I use digital equipment it will be possible to view the initial results and adjust lighting and pose to your satisfaction. Some photographers boast about the number of images they can do in a session. In my view, quality takes precedence over quantity and it's necessary to work slowly until you are comfortable in showing your best face. We will then look at the results and you will choose the six that you prefer. These I will retouch (ALL pictures need retouching - this is the digital equivalent of the darkroom) and within a few days six 10x8 inch enlargements and your CD will be ready to pick up. You may reproduce the pictures as long as they are not for commercial use. Only the selected pictures will be retouched and sized for internet use in addition to high resolution size. The CD will contain ALL the pictures we shot in the session plus the retouched ones. Perhaps you wish to have some time to think about which ones you want to have retouched and enlarged. In this case it is perfectly possible to take away the raw CD on full payment. want a good picture. Perhaps you hate yourself in photographs and the whole experience is depressing. You even consider having a face lift or just going about with a paper bag over your head. You don't get it because when you look in the mirror you don't look that bad but the pictures are awful and you decide you need glasses. After all the camera doesn't lie, does it? Oh yes it does!
